Acceptance of Terms

By using SiteIO, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Description of Service

SiteIO is an open source command-line interface (CLI) tool and self-hosted agent for deploying static websites. The software is provided free of charge.

Use of Service

Permitted Use

You may use SiteIO to:

• Deploy static websites to your own infrastructure
• Manage and remove deployed sites
• Run the SiteIO agent on servers you control
• Automate deployments for personal or business use

Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use SiteIO to:

• Host malware, phishing sites, or illegal content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Distribute content that violates third-party terms of service

Self-Hosted Responsibility

SiteIO is designed to run on infrastructure you control. You are responsible for:

• Securing your server and API credentials
• Managing SSL certificates and domain configuration
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• The content you host using SiteIO

Disclaimer of Warranties

SiteIO is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Business interruption
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the software

Third-Party Services

SiteIO integrates with third-party services. Your use is also subject to:

• Let's Encrypt Subscriber Agreement
• Your hosting provider's terms of service
• Your domain registrar's terms of service

Open Source License

SiteIO is open source software available at github.com/plosson/siteio and subject to its license terms.

Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Termination

You may stop using SiteIO at any time by:

• Deleting the CLI configuration (~/.config/siteio)
• Stopping the SiteIO agent on your server
• Removing deployed sites and data
